In recent years, the term “digital nomad” has become increasingly popular, with more and more people choosing to work remotely from anywhere in the world. So it might be a good place to start by figuring one thing out first: What exactly is a digital nomad?

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, a digital nomad is “a person who is able to work from anywhere in the world, typically with the aid of a laptop and a good Wi-Fi connection.” This lifestyle allows for greater flexibility and freedom than a traditional office job, as digital nomads can work from anywhere with an internet connection – a café, a co-working space, a hotel room, or even a beach.
